The most commonly used mode: self-leveling & manual mode is once the pendulum unlocked (front switch slides to its unlocked position). Laser beams will flash once the tool is operating out of its levelling range (4°±1°) to notify that the laser beams are not plumb or level and should not be used as plumb or level reference. Lockable pendulum to protect the internals for easy and safe transit. At the same time you can turn on laser beams in any position or angle for slope applications.
